The Shabana Story

Born in 1980 out of the ambition of Kisii businessman Dogo Khan, Shabana FC rose from dusty pitches to continental competitions. The club has seen dazzling highs — including a CAF Champions League appearance in 1988 — and survived painful lows like their near-collapse in 2006.
Today, Shabana is more than just a football team — it is a symbol of pride for Kisii and beyond.

Recent Performance

After an intense 2022/2023 NSL campaign, Shabana emerged champions and returned to the top flight. A sold-out Gusii Stadium witnessed their final victory over Kisumu All Stars — a night fans will never forget.
